Anthony Lazar, who goes by the stage name A.N.T. was born July 20 in Holland, MI. His family moved to Grand Rapids, MI at
an early age. Lazar’s stage name was a natural choice; being a childhood nickname that was widely used by friends and family. He
grew up the eldest of four, and began performing at the age of 11 inspired by Michael Jackson. Though A.N.T. loved entertaining
since he was a child, he became more serious and focused on creating music after seeing artists like Tupac and Jay-Z achieve
success and fame, thus bolstering their positions as pioneers of their craft.
Lazar formerly worked with Amiracle Records who provided him with studio time and helped promote his shows and music. Amir, the
founder of Amiracle Records, discovered A.N.T. at a freestyle competition. After A.N.T. battled three MCs, landing him a place in the
final four, Amir immediately recognized his talent. They started promoting their compilation album, The Rebirth, which garnered
A.N.T. instant attention from the streets.
During his time with Amiracle Records, A.N.T. performed at Club 112 in Atlanta, Georgia, and was pursued by a record label.
Eventually, Lazar amicably parted ways with Amiracle Records. To this day, he respects Amir and continues to be grateful for the
studio time, hustle and personal development that their relationship allowed. After moving on from Amiracle Records, A.N.T.
single-handedly developed his own record label, (T.T.M.G.) Trump Tight Music Group.
